Bill and Ruth Pellman started making cheesecakes in their home’s kitchen many decades ago. Other than the number of desserts produced and the size of our operation, not much has changed since then. Today, as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary, we still make quality and customer satisfaction our highest priorities.
Ruth Pellman started by making a few cheesecakes. Then a few more. Soon, she and her husband Bill were making 100 cheesecakes a week and selling them to restaurants and farmer’s markets.
Bill retired in 2000, and that’s when their sons Mike and Scott took over the business operations.
From the beginning, our family knew that developing the right recipes, using only the highest quality ingredients, and maintaining consistent product quality would result in the very best experiences for our valued customers.
Countless hours are spent researching, creating new products, baking, and tasting. All of our products are made from scratch. No mixes. No shortcuts. Only the best chocolate, carrots, apples, nuts, dairy products, and spices are used. And we rely on our skilled, dependable employees to deliver quality that’s not only consistent but delicious.
